KKN di Desa Penari, dapat dikatakan merupakan salah satu film yang mendapat animo luar biasa . Untuk penayangan di bioskop pun dibuat menjadi dua versi , versi KKN di Desa Penari cut dan versi KKN di Desa Penari uncut.
Namun bagi yang masih bimbang , hendak menonton yang versi yang mana, maka kali ini Cinemags (Nuty Laraswaty) , akan menyampaikan review sehabis menonton saat gala premiere versi uncut nya.
Tentunya setelah trailer berikut ini
Tentunya yang mengikuti dari awal cerita ini dari sosial media twitter dari sosok Simpleman, sudah mengetahui intisari cerita ini adalah mengenai perbuatan terlarang yang dilakukan oleh sepasang muda mudi , di sebuah lokasi pedesaan yang penduduknya hidup berdampingan dengan penduduk dari alam lain.
Ini disebabkan karena konon dahulu kala, penduduk tersebut sempat masuk ke dalam kekelaman dunia, sehingga sempat menumbalkan anak-anak mereka sendiri, agar hidup mereka tentram dan bebas dari mara bahaya.
Dengan kemajuan jaman dan juga dengan mulai berubahnya pola pemikiran penduduk desa tersebut, maka perlahan kekelaman itu pun ditinggal, namun masih menyisakan sesuatu.
Jika merujuk pada sosial media twitter sosok Simpleman, maka sudah dapat dipastikan alur cerita membawa narasi dari karakter Nur yang diperankan oleh Tissa Biani. Namun oleh sutradara Awi Suryadi , ini pun dirubah sehingga menjadi memberikan porsi yang kurang lebih sama pula bagi karakter Widya yang diperankan oleh Adinda Thomas. Ini memang merupakan sesuatu yang berbeda,pendekatannya pun juga lebih ke arah urutan visual yang lebih mudah diterima oleh penonton, jika dibandingkan dengan yang di sosial media twitter.
Perbedaan-perbedaan ini mungkin diperlukan dikarenakan media yang dipergunakan berbeda, yang satu berdasarkan imajinasi pemikiran dikarenakan membaca tulisan, adapun untuk film tentunya gambar adalah faktor uatama untuk media bercerita.
Lanjut membahas versi Un Cut, maka akan banyak terlihat adegan-adegan yang membawa penontonnya masuk kepada imajinasi tertentu, dalam hal ini khususnya hubungan terlarang, maka Awi Suryadi, mampu memberikan dan membawa fantasi penonton akan “panasnya” hubungan terlarang tersebut dengan tampilan-tampilan gambar eksotis. Tidak vulgar, namun membawa fantasi penontonnya ke arah tersebut. Terlebih lagi dengan dukungan suara-suara tertentu, resmi menekankan akan perbuatan terlarang tersebut. Bagi yang menonton versi Cut , tentunya hanya akan diberikan sebatas yang ditampilkan dalam trailer belaka.
Namun versi Un Cut membawa nuansa eksotis, bukanlah membawa nuansa pornografi. Inilah yang membuat karya Awi Suryadi ini berada di atas , jika dibandingkan dengan tampilan film-film sejenis pada masa lalu, yang menekankan pada adegan hubungan terlarang tersebut.
Adapun akhir cerita , ada beberapa pendapat yang membahas mengenai perbedaan yang diberikan oleh Awi Suryadi. namun pendapat dari Cinemags, adalah nampaknya ini merupakan salah satu cara atau versi tersendiri dari sutradaranya agar dapat lebih diterima oleh penonton Indonesia.
Menarik untuk diperhatikan tentunya adalah penampilan dari pemeran Badarawuhi yaitu Aulia Sarah. ia mampu menampilkan sosok Badarawuhi yang misterius, cantik, namun mengancam . Penampilannya mampu memberikan dan bahkan menambah unsur horor itu sendiri, tanpa perlu banyak embel-embel seperti scoring hingga jump scare. Ini merupakan salah satu penampilannya yang baik dan memberikan kesan mendalam bagi penonton.
