The Silent Sea is a production by Artist Studio and will air globally on Netflix, Choi Hang Yong is back in the director’s chair for The Silent Sea and working with screenwriter Park Eunkyo (Mother) and actor Jung Woo-sung as executive producers. The silent sea screenplay will be written by Park Eun-kyo, winner of Best Screenplay in 2010 for Mother at the 4th Asian Film Awards
Gong Yoo (Train to Busan, The Age of Shadows, Kim Ji-young: Born 1982, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) plays Han Yun-jae, an exploration team leader who must go on an important mission with very limited information. Yun-Jae puts the safety of his team members first, although this puts himself in a dangerous situation.
