Dalam siaran persnya, Reza Rahadian menyampaikan selama masa syuting, ada tujuh orang kru yang berada di belakang layar membantu proses penyutradaraan film ini. Proses selama syuting dilakukan bergantian untuk men-setting kebutuhan di lokasi dan tidak ada alat-alat besar seperti proses syuting pada umumnya.
Di lokasi syuting yang hanyalah di satu tempat saja, dan tidak berpindah-pindah, tidak terdapat lampu besar, tidak ada kamera yang pada umumnya digunakan dalam film , tidak ada penumpukan mobil kru, tidak ada keramaian.
Bahkan karena jumlah kru yang hanya tujuh orang ini, lebih mudah untuk mengaturnya dan pemilihan atas kru-kru ini lebih ditekankan kepada yang mau mengerjakan pekerjaan multi tasking. Reza Rahadian memberikan petunjuk, bahwa proses ini nantinya dapat dilihat dalam film, dan saat itulah nanti penonton dapat memahami.

Hal ini disebabkan pada saat berakting sebagai aktor dirinya harus mengolah emosi dan agak sulit bila harus keluar dari situasi ini, untuk memeriksa proses penyutingan dan lain-lain yang biasa dilakukan oleh seorang sutradara.
