The true story, the friendship between Abdel Sellou and a flawed French nobleman, Phillippe Pozzo di Borgo, inspired the record-breaking hit films.
Abdel Sellou is a naughty Algerian young immigrant and lives as a thief and a cheater artist until one day accidentally meets Prince Phillippe Pozzo di Borgo who is paralyzed by a paragliding sports accident.
With his insensitivity and ignorance, Abdel Sellou sought a rapid exit for difficulties arising from the attacks of his actions, thereby taking up work with great commitment and responsibility, serving Prince Phillippe Pozzo.
Unthought, this became a starting point for both of them. The relationship between them both develops not only between the employer and the servant, but changing the thinking and personal respectively.
Abdel Sellou transformed into a man of responsibility, loyal and later transformed and inspired Prince Phillippe Pozzo to more enjoy life and adventure. Their relationship grew into a privileged friendship and influenced the lives of many people, especially in France.
In the American film industry, this true story was then made its widest screen film titled The Upside.
Interwoven stories are made following American culture, so it is relevant to the situation and location where the film was made.
This is an interesting challenge to see its application in the film.
The selection of actors and actresses of course here is very important, because it must be able to animate the film but still lifted the American characteristic.
This is where the important role of actor Kevin Hart plays Dell, is able to place the hard life of blacks in America with his abusive behaviour, arrogance and take a shortcut to get out of his difficulties.
Kevin Hart is known as one of the top comedy booths from America, as well as actors and producers. Armed with this expertise, it is capable of making many humanist scenes into laughter until a bitter smile.
His acting was very captivating and managed to get into the audience’s emotional sphere.
The change of behavior is indifferent, full of indifference to the attention of his employer with a smooth and unhurtless transition. However, it is still covered in hilarious scenes, which makes the audience laugh at Phillip’s (Bryan Cranston’s), but is also cut out by the two. Kevin Hart seemed to speak for both of these characters and made the American culture look real.
It is very important to do, as the film, although it is inspired by the true story of Abdel Sellou with Phillippe Pozzo di Borgo, remains a “remake” of the French hit film The Instouchables.
Many had a sharp criticism, not making the film the Upside perform poorly, but I was still amazed at the American societal adaptations, so it was very impressed with the American street life that is often featured on the glass screen.
This adaptation Capability, which makes me give a high appreciation and provide a value of 8.5/10.
